ST. KITTS AND NEVIS
CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT
Citizenship by investment, also known as Economic Citizenship, may be acquired in St. Kitts and Nevis in two ways.
1. By a minimum contribution of US$200,000.00 and upwards, to the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF), depending on the number of family members applying. A fee of US$35,000.00 for each adult child applicant 18-25 years old attending uninterrupted school or college, is also payable.
The contributions to the SIDF are as follows:
(i) Single applicant, a non-refundable contribution of US$200,000.00
(ii) Applicant with up to 3 dependents (i.e one spouse and two children under the age of 18) a non-refundable contribution of US$250,000.00
(iii) Applicant with up to 5 dependents (i.e one spouse and 4 children under the age of 18) a non-refundable contribution of US$300,000.00.
(iv) Applicant with 6 or more dependents a non-refundable contribution of US$400.000.
(v) Children 18 to 25 years who are attending uninterrupted school or college may be included at an additional government fee of US$35,000.00 each.
OR
2. By a substantial investment of at least US$ 350,000.00 (likely to be increased shortly to US$ 500,000.0) United States currency or its equivalent in East Caribbean currency in an “approved investment project”. This would normally be property such as a villa or condominium.
The Registration Fees applicable under the property option are:

a. US$35,000.00 for head of household (male or female) or any other adult.
b. US$15,000.00 for either spouse.
c. US$15,000.00 for each child under 18 years, and
d. US$35,000.00 for unmarried dependant child of the applicant between the ages of 18 and 25 in an educational institution, with uninterrupted studies.
NB. Closing costs and transfer fees of approximately 10% of the purchase price of the property will also be required.

The fee for each Certificate of Registration is US$47.00.
Due diligence fee for each applicant 16 years and over is US$3,500.00.
Passports require a separate application after the Citizenship Certificate is issued. The cost of applying for each passport is US$500.00. (fast track 3 days) or $200.00 (three weeks wait).
Once an item of real estate has been the basis of a successful economic citizenship application, that item of real estate shall cease to be an “approved investment” for any further application without prior approval of the Cabinet. The property must be held for at least 5 years.

One set of original application forms for each person applying must be purchased from Government at a cost of US$250.00 each.
